The Haddonfield Area Lions Club is hosting Breakfast with the Troops as part of the Borough of Haddonfield's Skirmish event. The breakfast will be held from 9 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 4, at First Presbyterian Church, Haddonfield, on Kings Highway.
Lions’ cooks will be serving an authentic meal with biscuits (instead of fire cakes) served with churned butter, oatmeal with toppings (instead of porridge), spiral cut ham, breakfast casseroles, and beverages. Pancakes will also be served.
And Skirmish reenactors will be on hand to take questions – a great living history lesson for the kids.
The cost of breakfast is $15 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under. Tickets can be pre-ordered (see tab below) or purchased at the door on the day of the event.,
