Now accepting Nominations for the Youth of the Year!


The Lions Club of Haddonfield is seeking applicants for its William G. Hansen Youth of the Year award. We are seeking nominations (you can nominate yourself) of a high school student who lives in Haddonfield and is dedicated and active as a volunteer in the community and in his or her school. We are looking for a student who has leadership skills, spends time volunteering, has empathy and is dedicated to helping others.

If you would like to nominate someone, or nominate yourself, send the below information to Lions Club members: Deb Nussbaum (debranussbaum1987@gmail.com) and/or Ellen Ragone (ellensragone@gmail.com) no later than April 13.

Please include the name of the nominator and nominee and contact information for both. Tell us what this student is involved in and why this person is deserving of recognition. The student must live in Haddonfield or attend high school here. Please also include their current grade in school.

This award comes with a plaque and a $100 prize. It will be presented in May at a Lions meeting in Haddonfield. The winner, who will be chosen by the Lions
