With much regret, we have to cancel this year's Lizzy Haddon Basketball Charity Invitational. We did not get enough teams to sign up. Thank you to those teams that did sign up we're sorry for the cancelation. We hope to see everyone there next year!

To All Coaches, Players and Parents;

We are excited to say that we will have The 20th Anniversary Lizzy Haddon Tournament for 2022. Haddonfield Lions Club main goal is to keep everyone safe and sound. We are sure that there will be some COVID-19 requirements in each gym to keep everyone safe and still have fun. We already have special 20th Anniversary shirts made up to give away to each player. PLEASE save the date for Saturday, April 30, 2022 and Sunday, May 1, 2022.

We thank all of the coaches, players and parents for the support over the years and hope to see you next year.

CHIP ADAMSON, LARRY MELTON CO-LIZZY TOUR. CHAIRPERSON.

The Lizzy Haddon Invitational has been going strong since the year 2000! This fun tournament has become an annual tradition for many teams from Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey, and the men and women of the Haddonfield Lions Club look forward to welcoming back our old friends - and meeting new ones. All proceeds of the tournament go toward the charitable projects of the Lions, with particular emphasis on helping the Blind and Visually Impaired.

Teams come back, year after year, for our tournament!

Why? Because the Lions Club knows how to make it FUN! Not only do we run a great tournament, but we're in an ideal location for you to enjoy yourselves between games. All of our gym locations are only a short drive (or walk) from Historic downtown Haddonfield where local merchants and restaurants really roll out the red carpet for the players and their families. They even provide free goody bags and entertainment.

Tournament Basics

• Teams will be guaranteed 4 games over the two day tournament weekend.

• There will be multiple brackets for Grades 4 - 9.

• Competition levels A, B and C.

• Cost for two days is $425 per team (after March 15th $475), which includes 20th Anniversary tournament tee shirts

for all of the girls who play in the tournament.

• There is a $25 per team discount for organizations sending four or more teams. If you want the discount please try to send in all your team forms and payment together.

• The Tournament is limited to hosting 75 teams (Please sign up before slots run out!) from the region. In past years we have welcomed teams from New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania and New York.

• Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Haddonfield Lions Club, which donates to many local charities, focused on those helping the blind and vision-impaired.

• Please Contact us if you have any questions.

Community Service Opportunity

Because one of the Lion's missions is to provide free glasses to those who cannot afford them, teams are asked to please bring used sunglasses and eyeglasses to the tournament.

Glasses should be delivered to the Haddonfield Middle School, on Lincoln Avenue. If you don't have any games scheduled there, please give the glasses to the Site Director at  your gym. For more information about how your donated glasses can benefit others, please see the NJ Lions  Eyeglass Recycling web page.
