Mayor's Breakfast is Canceled, but Citizen of the Year Search Is On

Although limitations related to the COVID19 pandemic have caused the cancellation of many local events and activities – such as the annual Mayor’s Breakfast hosted by the Haddonfield Lions Club – it has not kept the Committee, made up of Haddonfield community members, from seeking nominations for the person who will be named the winner of the 2021 Citizen of the Year Award.

Nominations will be accepted until the December 31, 2020 deadline. The winner will be announced by Mayor Neal Rochford on a yet-to-be-determined date in early 2021.

Many outstanding people have been nominated previously and the committee will consider both former and new nominees. However, all nominations must be current and include the 2021 form as a cover sheet, together with statements by the person making the nomination. Note: Nominees must be Haddonfield residents.

The nomination form can be downloaded from the link below and is also available at the Haddonfield Information Center at 2 Kings Court and by contacting the Committee chairs, Jack Tarditi (jtarditi@connerstrong.com) and Mike Kennedy  (mikelgkennedy@cs.com.)
